Price (1929\u20132001) was the Founder and Director of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.direction.ca\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Direction Chr\u00e9tienne \/ Christian Direction<\/a>, a ministry in Montr\u00e9al, PQ that is still operating today. Keith developed a set of principles based on the writings of a nineteenth-century missionary named&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anthony_Norris_Groves\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Norris Groves<\/a>. These principles, which he called \u201cThe Basis for Christian Fellowship,\u201d have been used in multiple contexts as a way to facilitate Christians working together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"db3e\">In addition to Keith Price being a mentor to an individual within our group at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ajesuscommunity.ca\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A Jesus Community<\/a>, \u201cThe Basis for Christian Fellowship\u201d has a special connection with our roots. A.N. Groves, whose correspondence Keith drew upon, is sometimes called the father of the Christian Brethren faith tradition within which A Jesus Community situates itself. Groves worked closely with some of the pioneers of this ecclesial movement of laypeople, including George M\u00fceller (who was married to his sister), John Nelson Darby, Theodosia Lady Powerscourt, and others, to develop some of the counter-cultural practices that many Christian groups continue to do today. As a missionary to Baghdad working outside a denominational institution, Groves was passionate about the need for Christians to find alignment in \u201cthe common life\u201d represented by the table of the Lord\u2019s Supper, a place where anyone was welcome regardless of denomination or affiliation because of what Jesus had accomplished on the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"8b23\">\u201cThe Basis for Christian Fellowship,\u201d using the original words Keith Price developed, can be read in its entirety via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventive.ca\/the-basis-for-christian-fellowship\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Adventive Cross-Cultural Initiatives<\/a>.
