This Sunday, it's a Word Sunday! Jay will be continuing our "cloud of witnesses" series. Kids in Grade 5 and under will be downstairs. (Don't forget to bring your backpacks and verse booklets! :-D) Grade 6 and up will be in the library with Erin.

This weekend (August 28-30) is our annual Peace Christian Community retreat at Meadowlodge Bible Camp. Get in touch with Ruth for more info. Because of the retreat, we won't be meeting at Carmel this week!

This Sunday, we're going to be wrapping up the summer series on the book of Acts, looking at a few different sections together (Acts 13:1-3, Acts 15:22-29, Acts 16: 6-10, Acts 20:22-24). There will be an activity for kids in Grades 5 and under too!

This Sunday, we will be continuing our discussions in the book of Acts, with a focus on Acts 10:9-21, 34-38, 44-48. The plan is to meet at Carmel at 11am. There will be an activity happening for kids in Grade 5 and under as well.

The next two Sundays we are going to be cancelling formal church and doing an extended break. As with all Sabbatical Sundays, please feel free to take this as an opportunity to get together with other folks from Peace! We'll be back together again formally on August 16.

If it rains, we will plan to pivot as they don't have enough space indoors, so stay tuned for an email tonight! If folks can let us know if you are planning on coming, that would be helpful for numbers.

This week, we're going to continue our summer discussion of the book of Acts. Zach and Jaclyn will be leading us through Acts 6:1-8, 15, 54-59, which talk about Stephen and the Spirit. As usual, things will get going around 11am at Carmel. There will also be an activity for kids in Grade 5 and under.

This Sunday, we will be continuing to talk about the book of Acts in the summer format, which tends to be chill, lowkey, and informal (as opposed to the extremely formal approach we all typically tend to). The focus this week is on Acts 4:5-20 (and perhaps also 4:23-35 -- and maybe even Acts 19:1-7... See? That's what informality looks like...). Kids will be doing an activity! (Also, if you would like to help out with kids over the summer, let Ruth know!)

School's out for summer... And that means that we're going to be shifting gears and getting started with a more laid back, discussion-driven format over the next couple of months. This summer, we're going to be looking at the book of Acts together. The first session is happening this Sunday, July 5. We'll be meeting at Carmel at 11am. There will be an activity for kids in Grade 5 and under.

This Sunday, it's Word Sunday! Doug will be wrapping up our series about the Holy Spirit by talking about the Spirit and the kingdom of God. Sunday school will be happening downstairs for kids in Grade 5 and under. Youth in grade 6 and up will be in the library with Sherah.

This Sunday, it's the annual Sunday School picnic! We'll be meeting at 11am at Mount Carmel Bible School for a picnic and games! Hot dogs, sausages, buns, and popsicles will be provided -- if everyone else can bring sides and drinks, that would be great.

This week it’s Word Sunday. We’re going to be hearing from Nils and Michelle who will be sharing about the power of the Holy Spirit and what that can look like in our lives. Kids in grade 5 and under will have Sunday School. Youth in grade 6 and up will be in the library. Join us at 11am at Mount Carmel Bible College. Also happening this Sunday, it’s Teen Bible Study at Carmel from 6:45-8:15pm! (Grade 7 and up).

This Sunday, it's Faith and Film. We'll be meeting at 11am at Carmel as per the usual. Four folks will be sharing clips from films that they connect with the Spirit in some way. There will be Sunday school for kids in Grade 5 and under. Teens will be in the main room with everyone else (... teens like movies, right?). We’ll get going around 11am at Mount Carmel.

This Sunday, we're meeting at Carmel at 11am to spend some time praying together. There will be Sunday School downstairs for kids in Grade 5 and under. Also happening this Sunday, it’s Teen Bible Study at Carmel from 6:45-8:15pm! (Grade 7 and up).

This Sunday, it's Sabbatical Sunday, which means there's no church! As usual, feel free to sleep in, read a book, watch the highlights from Eurovision (or don't), rest and find time to turn your thoughts towards God -- with family, in quiet, or with another group of Jesus followers (and/or with other folks from Peace).

This Sunday, we'll be meeting at the top of the Argyll sledding hill and then heading into the Mill Creek ravine to do some cleaning up of the area. (There's parking if you access the hill from the south). The plan is to meet there at around 11am. There will be bags and gloves available. Also happening this Sunday, it’s Teen Bible Study at Carmel from 6:45-8:15pm! (Grade 7 and up).
