It’s fall, which — as we all know — means one important thing.

Pumpkin spice lattes. Just how do they get the pumpkin into the latte?

Here’s the plan for the fall (and for fun I’ve added the winter events too).

• Sunday, September 22: This Sunday, it’s a Word Sunday. Ruth will be kicking-off a series on prayer — hopefully a helpful complement to some of the reflection we’re doing on resisting hurry and making space. For youth in Grades 6 to 12, Erin will be doing a separate activity. There will also be Sunday school downstairs for kids in Grades 1–5 and a separate group for kids in Kindergarten and younger in the playroom.
• Sunday, September 29: Worship Sunday
• Sunday, October 6: Faith and Film
• Sunday, October 13: Sabbatical Sunday, which means NO CHURCH!
• Sunday, October 20: Word Sunday
• Saturday, October 26: Saturday Church Event! We’re preparing for the big “Boot Up for Winter” event downtown with Inner City Pastoral Ministry. Meeting at Mount Carmel to sort boots and be together.
• Sunday, October 27: “Boot Up for Winter” Event to distribute boots, socks, and hot dogs to people in need.
• Saturday, November 2: ICPM Lunch Bag Making and Brunch
• Sunday, November 3: ICPM Lunch Bag distribution.
• Sunday, November 10: Sabbatical Sunday, which means NO CHURCH!
• Sunday, November 17: Word Sunday at 11am at Mount Carmel. For youth in Grades 6 to 12, Erin will be doing a separate activity. There will also be Sunday school downstairs for kids in Grades 1–5 and a separate group for kids in Kindergarten and younger in the playroom.
• Sunday, November 24: Worship Sunday at 11am at Mount Carmel
• Sunday, December 1: Advent #1! at 11am at Mount Carmel: Advent Kick-Off Event
• Sunday, December 8: Advent #2! at 11am at Mount Carmel: Christmas Pageant and Jesus’ Birthday Party
• Sunday, December 15: Advent #3! at 11am at Mount Carmel: Word Sunday. There will also be Sunday school downstairs for kids in Grades 1–6 and a separate group for kids in Kindergarten and younger in the playroom.
• Sunday, December 22: Advent #4! at Mount Carmel: Evening Service with Christmas Carols
• Sunday, December 29: Sabbatical Sunday… you know what that means.
