Leap Year!

So cool — I think everyone wishes that they could have been born on a leap year. But the ones who were probably don’t like it as much because either people just won’t believe them or they’ll freak out and be too excited. There are no moderate responses to being born on February 29.

• Sunday, February 4: This Sunday, we’re going to be getting some updates on different things going on at Peace and have the chance to discuss logistics and approach. We’ll get going as usual at 11am-(ish) at Mount Carmel. Kids will be watching a movie downstairs (with supervision).
• Sunday, February 11: This week we’ll be celebrating a Shrove Sunday Brunch and preparing for Lent (which starts on Ash Wednesday). We will also do a bit of clean-up around Mount Carmel today (since they’ll have just finished their big annual High School event).
• Sunday, February 18: Sabbatical Sunday today, which means… CHURCH IS CANCELLED
• Sunday, February 25: We’re going to be finishing off our Cosmic Jesus in the Real World series this week. While Erin speaks upstairs, kids in Grade 6 and under will be downstairs doing Sunday School.
