What’s Happening in April 2024

It’s the beginning of spring and you can really tell. Because of the lack of snow and, well, the date.

A month of Sundays below the pretty picture…

  • Sunday, April 7: This Sunday at Mount Carmel, we will have the chance to hear from several different ministries — Good Work Groups, we’re calling them — about ways to “let your good deeds shine.” There will be different tables to visit and an opportunity to talk about what it means to see Jesus at work in the wider world. Sunday School will be happening for kids in Grade 6 and under.
  • Sunday, April 14: We’re meeting at Carmel at 11am to celebrate people and families dedicating themselves to the way of Jesus. There’s a baptism happening and more.
  • Sunday, April 21: We’ll be spending some time this week hearing about the ministry of the Irere Foundation out of Rwanda, with Sherah interviewing her friends James and Jackie! Sunday School will be happening for kids in Grade 6 and under.
  • Sunday, April 28: This Sunday, we’re meeting at Carmel at 11am, we are bringing back our Work and Faith panel. We will hear from people in our community about how they spend their days and how their work (paid and unpaid) interacts with their faith. Sunday school for kids in Grade 6 and under will be happening downstairs.

If you’re interested in being on the email list for more details on what’s happening from week to week, send Jeff a note.
