The narrow window of spring in Edmonton is finally here. Snow is a hilarious barely-visible memory, and short pants are on the move.
- Sunday, May 5: This Sunday at Carmel starting at 11am, we’re going to be doing a Service Sunday. There will be a few different opportunities to serve — helping with setting up the community garden fencing, giving Carmel a hand with some inside and outside projects, and making handout kits for street-level people asking for help, and more! It’s a good mix of stuff that kids can do and stuff that adults can do.
- Sunday, May 12: This Sunday at 11am, we’re going to be doing some worship and then having brunch together. There will be food at Carmel — since it is Mother’s and Caregiver’s Day, any guys who are up for it would be welcome to help prepare and serve the food. Kids will be in the service with us.
- Sunday, May 19: Sabbatical Sunday this week and that means no church!
- Sunday, May 26: This Sunday, we’re meeting at Carmel at 11am as usual for a Word Sunday. Jeff will be speaking about the ways Jesus changes hearts. Sunday School for kids in Grade 6 and under will be available.
If you’re interested in being on the email list for more details on what’s happening from week to week, send Jeff a note.
