This is an era of broken links, half-updated websites, and rolling a new church name around in your mouth to see what it feels like. Is it Peace Christian Community? Peace Christian Community? Or is the emphasis somewhere else entirely? Do we say “PCC” when we’re abbreviating? Or maybe “Peace Christian”? Or maybe we just say “Old Pax” — that’s my favourite.
Yes, as you’ll have gathered, our little community meeting in east Edmonton has chosen a new name for itself, and we’re thinking this one will stick: Peace Christian Community. (Although, of course, we’re still a Jesus community too!)

We kick off the month as usual with singing together and communion. We’ll be meeting at Mount Carmel Bible College.

Borrow Sunday this month is going to focus on a Christian practice that isn’t typically associated with “devotion,” but which has been a great help for many Christians in their walk with God. We’re going to be learning and talking a little bit about apologetics! What’s it all about? Does it require that you apologize — or maybe that word is unrelated! How has it been helpful for people? What might be some of it limitations?
This will be happening at Mount Carmel Bible College. If you are interested in joining via Zoom, send an email to info@ajesuscommunity.ca. (I know, I know: it’s the old URL. We don’t have a new one yet.)
February 20, 2022 @ 11am
Event Sunday this month is going to be a service event. We are still ironing out some of the details about who, what, and why, but plan to join us at Mount Carmel Bible College at 11am. We’ll update this space in the next week or so with more details. Likely there will be no Zoom available this week, but we’ll confirm that once plans are firmed up.
February 27, 2022 @ 11am
